3rd Class had lots fun investigating the effect hot water has on skittles during Science Week. Each group had their own plate of skittles which we added warm water to and watched carefully what happened.
The conclusion of the experiment was that the warm water dissolves the sugar in the skittles which causes the colour to run making a 'rainbow'.
