School Tour 2021
10th Jun 2021
Today we were lucky to get out and about exploring our locality.
We started the morning in Griston bog near Ballylanders and explored the bog using the knowledge we had learnt earlier in school.
Next we went to Knockcarron where Charlie Richardson told us all about Mai Moloney and her role in the War of Independence including the rescue of Seân Hogan from Knocklong train station.
In the afternoon we explored the Mass Rock in Aherlow and the nature park nearby.
It was a great day and fun was had by all.
