Thank you very much to Mitchelstown Credit Union and Mitchelstown Gardai who facilitated the visit of Santa this morning. With the Garda siren sounding through the village everyone wondered what could be wrong at the school. However it was all good as our VIP guest arrived with a Garda escort to make sure he had no delays or hold ups. The children in the "big school" really enjoyed the visit and found Santa to be in excellent form despite the difficult year.
