Climb with Charlie.
Today our 5th & 6th classes climbed Sliabh Riadh in support of Charlie Birds fundraising climb which takes place all over the country this weekend. It was an amazing day with blue skies and beautiful Spring sunshine. The views from the top were just amazing. We were so fortunate to meet local man Morgan Murphy at the top who was a fountain of knowledge. He was able to point out many neighbouring and faraway landmarks. Because the sky was so clear we could see back to Carrantouhill in Kerry. We saw the Knockmealdowns in Waterford and over to Sliabh na mBan in Tipperary. To the North we could make out Sliabh Barna near killaloe in Clare. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable day for a very good cause.
