We have come to the end of another school year. We would like to say a huge well done to the 22 boys and girls who finished at Galbally NS today. They have a great sense of fun and friendship. All of us here at the school wish them well in the years ahead.It has been a pleasure teaching such talented amazing people. We are sure they will go on to great things and will be excellent ambassadors for Galbally NS.
Last night we had a beautiful end of year Mass and celebration.It was a balmy summers evening and thankfully we could again hold our ceremony outdoors. Thanks to Fr O Neill for making it so personal and emotional, to the choir for the beautiful music & singing and to all those who were involved in the liturgy whether it was readings, prayers or reflections.A presentation was made to the 9 families who finished with Galbally NS this year. Another presentation was made to Siobhan Johnston for her work on the Childcare Committee. Afterwards we had a sociable cuppa which was kindly organised by our Parents Association.
As well as last night we want to thank everyone in our school community - children, parents and staff who helped out yesterday and all throughout the year. We hope everyone has a lovely and safe summer.
