ASD building. Our new building is progressing well. The room which is specially designed for children with Autism and Special needs will have state of the art facilities incl. an ASD classroom, multi-sensory room, safe room, ensuite toilets/shower room, kitchenette as well as covered outdoor play area. We have always been a very inclusive school and this extension will further add to the facilities available to help children with additional needs. It will mean our SEN children can now be educated locally in their own community and integrate with their peers in the main school building as well. While we are very glad to have our temporary prefab building, we are very excited now about the permanent purpose built facilities. (ps Preparing the site meant we had to remove the shed/shelter. It was a nostalgic moment as we thought about the many stories and chats our students shared there every day since way back in 1966 when it was built as part of the school)
