Last week was Active week and everyone had a great time and loads of fun with all the daily activities. 4th to 6th classes held a Hurling blitz over the course of the week. The finals took place today. Tipp and Wexford drew in the A final while Limerick had a narrow win over Cork in the B final.
The local clubs kindly came in to do coaching sessions with all classes. Tuesday Eoin O Mahony did football skills. Wednesday we had rugby with Tony Henebry. On Thursday Sean Mullins shared his soccer skills. Shelly finished off the week with Hip hop dancing. Many thanks to Eoin, Tony and Sean for giving so generously of their time. We hope all our boys and girls will be encouraged to participate in some sport outside of school where the fun will continue.
